SEIP New Website has been launched on July 29, 2019

The new website for SEIP has been launched by Mr. Jalal Ahmed, Executive Project Director, SEIP and Additional Secretary of Bangladesh Government at SEIP Conference Room on July 29, 2019. many of the stakeholders including the chief coordinator from different industry associations were present in the website launching program

Skills for Employment Investment Program (SEIP) already has a website for disseminating its activities into the cyber world. The website was built during the early stage of the project in 2015. As time passes, the technology has been updated and the project authority feels the urgency to update the project’s website according to meet the changed requirement by the project. Hence, a new dynamic and mobile responsive website has been developed to meet the changed requirement by the project incorporating the existing project information and the window to meet the future requirements and technologies.

The newly developed website has the following key features:

  1. The new website is mobile responsive. The website can be accessible from any mobile devices like smartphone, tab etc.
  2. All the knowledge materials like Competency Standards (CS), Competency-based Learning Materials (CBLM), Course Assessment Tools, study reports, concept paper and case study reports are included into Resources Menu in the new website.
  3. All the publications like Admission Circulars, notices, SEIP brochures and leaflets etc. are collaborated under a single menu (Publications) in the new website.
  4. All the training activities summary data (Dashboard Data) has been incorporated in Statistics Menu.
  5. A unique feature “Course Locator” has been included for interested trainees to provide upcoming training schedule for tentative courses and training institutes.
  6. News Highlights has been included to disseminate the latest project activities and achievements.
  7. Notices are classified in office orders, procurement notices and recruitment notices for easier understanding of published articles.
  8. A dynamic sitemap has been included to gather all the information in a tree view.

The website is fully dynamic, informative and search engine optimized. As the website contents are more manageable using the latest web technology. It is expected the website will meet the stake holder’s requirements. Finally, the chair concluded the website launching program with vote of thanks to all participants.
